The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are scheduled as follows:
B.E./B.Tech (Paper 1): April 2 to April 8, 2026
B.Arch (Paper 2A) & B.Planning (Paper 2B): April 7, 2026
This April session is crucial for students who want to improve their January session scores or are appearing for the first time.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
To appear in JEE Main 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Students should have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For B.Arch/B.Planning, Mathematics is mandatory in Class 12.
There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main (as per current NTA guidelines).
📍 Exam City Details
The Exam City Intimation Slip is released before the admit card.
It informs candidates about the city where their exam center is located.
Students can download it from the official NTA JEE website.
The exact exam center address will be mentioned on the Admit Card, released 3–4 days before the exam.
